College of Education Multicultural Advocacy Development

This site provides a variety of resources focused on multicultural advocacy development and information on how to address such topics in diverse educational settings.

The goal of this ever-evolving website is to provide information through selected books, articles, and online sources to help users facilitate and navigate discussions about these topics and the pertinent issues that surround them. These resources are available to all faculty, students, school district partners, community mentors, and those individuals committed to the ideals of preparing and supporting educators in serving our diverse student population and community.

Elevating the value of global and cultural awareness at UHCL is an ongoing commitment of the College of Education. Thus, these resources are thoughtful, research supported, vetted contributions made by faculty who utilize these materials to suit the unique needs of our preservice and in-service educators to better prepare them to be servant leaders in a myriad of diverse teaching and learning environments.
