Get Involved with Life on UHCL Campus
Student involvement celebrates inclusion, encourages on-campus engagement, builds networks, and provides a holistic student experience. At UHCL, we want your college experience to go beyond the walls of your classroom, lab, or library. Getting involved as a student will enable you to develop a sense of belonging and build long-lasting connections to the community, collaborate with a diverse student body, develop leadership talents, and explore personal and professional growth.
Captain Wendell M. Wilson Office of Veteran Services
You made a sacrifice to serve our country, and now UHCL wants to serve you. Staffed by veterans, the Captain Wendell M. Wilson Office of Veteran Services provides various resources to other veterans who need assistance with their education. Whether you're seeking career counseling, educational support, or assistance with your VA benefits, we can help.
When you’re ready to start planning for your future, we'll be here to help you succeed with your job search. Career Services provides assistance with interview preparation, resume creation and networking events, among other services. Resources are available to alumni as well, all with the goal of helping Hawks soar.
Student Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
UHCL is committed to cultivating a diverse environment that fosters positive, inclusive relationships because we believe diversity exposure is a crucial element in preparing you for an increasingly globalized professional world. We celebrate and advocate for the concerns of women, international students and LGBTQ students through educational programs, trainings and cross-cultural events that aim to educate the community and promote cultural diversity and personal growth.
With UHCL's Student Life office, there's no shortage of opportunities for you to get connected on campus. You can join one of the many student organizations and make your voice heard, show your school spirit by participating in the various on-campus events, join a leadership group to help someone in need, and so much more.
