During UHCL’s Weeks of Welcome you’ll have an amazing set of opportunities to learn more about the journey you’re beginning. Events during your first week include the Welcome Back Bash and Hawk Launch. But it doesn’t stop after the first week. March brings Midterms Madness, and Family Weekend in conjunction with Chili Cook-Off. Finals Freebies will help you get through end-of-the-year exams.

Lunch with a Prof
This ongoing program is offered throughout the year and allows you the opportunity connect with a faculty member outside of the classroom by sharing a meal together in the on-campus Patio Café’, paid for by our office. This is a great opportunity to connect with your faculty members outside the classroom to receive clarification on a project, learn about their field of study or understand their career path.
You can invite up to two(2) professors or staff members and up to four (4) students total. Date & time must be more than 48 hours in advance of form submission.
Free food in as easy as 1,2,3!
- Step 1: Invite an UHCL professor or staff member to lunch.
- Step 2: Complete this short form with the requested date and time.
- Step 3: Meet your professor or staff at the Patio Cafe.
Following your Lunch With A Prof all students will be emailed a quick reflection survey.
