Piper Awards

Each year the University of Houston-Clear Lake Piper Award Committee, composed of an equal number of students and faculty, selects one professor to honor for excellence in teaching. This professor then represents the university in competition for the Minnie Stevens Piper Award, which recognizes college and university instructors across the state of Texas. Both students and faculty are encouraged to submit nominations for this honor.

Nominate an outstanding professor for this honor. Download the nomination form and submit the completed form to piperaward@uhcl.edu. Nominations close on October 2nd at 5 pm.
