Biography
Dr. Georgina Moreno is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Moreno graduated with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Iowa and completed her postdoctoral studies at New York University. She also holds a graduate certification in Multicultural Education and Culturally Competent Practice from the University of Iowa.
Dr. Moreno’s research investigates how emotion and decision-making changes across the lifespan and the underlying physiological mechanisms related to these processes. Additionally, she is currently working on research projects related to inclusive teaching strategies and implicit bias.
