Biography
Dr. Marks is a professor of accounting at University of Houston-Clear Lake. He teaches government and non-for-profit accounting, and individual income tax. He conducts research in state and local governmental accounting, financial management, and in the geographic disclosure practices of U.S. multinational corporations. His research includes more than 40 refereed journal articles. He currently serves as Historian for the Government-and-Non-Profit section of the American Accounting Association. He teaches professional education course for the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs each summer.
