A Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from University of Houston-Clear Lake will give you a broad base of knowledge in the life sciences and prepare you for advanced study in the biomedical, biotechnical and environmental fields. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth for biological scientists
is expected to climb about 21 percent through 2018, a much faster rate than the average
for other occupations. UHCL’s College of Science and Engineering creates opportunities
to put your knowledge to use in private industry and corporations, nonprofit organizations,
and local, state and federal agencies. As a student, you can get involved by engaging
in applied research in medicine, aerospace, biotechnology and chemistry.
